Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery (ZSR Delivers)
Staff: Tara Hauser, Kylie Bradley, James Harper (head)
The tasks of this unit are divided into 3 areas: borrowing, lending, and document delivery. Borrowing is the process of acquiring items from other libraries for use by WFU faculty, staff, and students. Lending is the reverse of this - us loaning items in our collection to other libraries. Document delivery is the delivery of items to patrons either for pick up in our smart lockers, through office delivery, or via FedEx. Student workers in this area will retrieve items from the stacks, package mail, and make deliveries to faculty offices across campus.
Course Reserves
Staff: David Link, James Harper (head)
This unit provides online and physical access to items specific to a course. David works with faculty to collect and organize these resources and link them to the appropriate class. Student workers in this area will retrieve items from the stacks and scan chapters and articles for electronic course reserves.
Offsite Shelving
Staff: Ty Wilson, James Harper (head)
The offsite shelving facility is located near the WFU coliseum. It houses low-use books and most of our bound journals. Items can be requested through the Library's online catalog. Student workers do not work at the facility, but may work at ZSR to retrieve and process items being moved to offsite shelving.
