What is Digital Humanities?

New field of study, involves:

  • Digital technologies applied to traditional humanities questions.
  • Digital technologies applied to primary source material (text mining, etc.)

  • Traditional humanistic questions applied to the digital environment (e.g., how do readers interact with online texts? Do they interact differently than readers did with print texts in the past?)
