ZSR Policies
- Paid Time Off (PTO) FOR NON EXEMPT (BIWEEKLY) STAFF: All vacation, sick and personal leave is recorded and submitted bi-weekly on Workday All paid time off is updated automatically on each employee's Workday account. FOR EXEMPT STAFF: Workday should be used to request and record PTO and Sick Leave.
- ZSR Professional Development and Travel Guidelines (WFU login req'd) To request approval to attend conferences, workshops, or webinars, complete the Travel and Professional Development Leave Request form, under the Forms tab on this guide or linked at http://zsr.wfu.edu/zsr/. Once the form has all the approval signatures, it will be directed back to the employee. Once the conference or workshop is over, a Travel and Entertainment Voucher (also found under the Forms tab on this guide) must be completed and submitted to Kristen Morgan for reimbursement. Please attach all original receipts to the voucher. Please note that if all expenses were charged to a University credit card, you do not need to enter these purchases on the Travel and Entertainment Voucher, just submit the original receipts to Kristen Morgan. Also submit the Library's internal Travel Expense Worksheet linked at https://zsr.wfu.edu/intranet/requests-forms/
- FacilitiesWhen maintenance or custodial work in the building is needed, please contact Mary Beth Lock. She will contact the Facilities Services Dept.
- Office SuppliesA central stash of office supplies (post-its, pens, etc.) is in the Admin office suite (see Kristen Morgan). Additional or special-order supplies are ordered at the beginning of each month (unless approved otherwise) through each team's supply shopper.
- Job-related PrintingContact the ZSR Tech Team to set up your printer services.
Library Committees
Library staff members are critical to the governance of the Library. The entire staff meets monthly and teams meet regularly. Advisory committees of university faculty and students meet with the Dean to facilitate communication and advise on Library policies and procedures. The Dean of the Library also establishes an array of standing committees, as well as ad hoc committees and task forces when needed.
The most up-to-date list of Library Committees is maintained on the ZSR website. There are two basic groups of committees:
