Staff Advisory Council
The Staff Advisory Council is an advisory body tasked with strengthening communication between the Staff and Administration at Wake Forest University.
Faculty Senate
The Senate advises the University administration and the Board on matters pertaining to long-range planning for the University and to its general welfare, and to the appointment of senior administrative officers.
Campus Activities, Services, and Centers
Fitness Facilities
Wake Forest provides a fitness center and indoor pool for staff use at no charge. The Miller Center includes a workout room with weight training equipment and cardio machines. Free introductory training sessions are available and one-on-one personal training sessions can be arranged for a modest fee. Memberships are available (for a small fee) for spouses, live-in partners and dependents (age 16-23).

The Staff Lounge on the third floor of ZSR has two refrigerators, a toaster-oven, and two microwaves for staff use.
Professional Development Center (PDC)
The mission of the Professional Development Center is to provide faculty, staff, and the broader Winston-Salem community with professional, personal, and civic enrichment opportunities through education focused on management training, interpersonal skills, academic and administrative software, general technical skills, and a myriad of special interest topics.
Reynolda Village
About a 10-minute walk from the library, Reynolda Village offers several options for lunch. Other treats at the Village include Reynolda Gardens, Reynolda House Museum of American Art, walking trails and various shops and stores.
Secrest Artist Series
World-class performances free of charge to students, faculty, and staff at Wake Forest University.
Ticket Office
Adjacent to the Student Union office on the third floor, the Benson Ticket Office offers discount tickets to venues such as, Winston-Salem Dash games, Carowinds, and the Grand Theater on University Parkway.
