Welcome to Wake Forest University and the Z. Smith Reynolds Library! I’m so glad you’re here. Whether this is your first role in higher education or one of many, joining ZSR means becoming part of a community that’s deeply committed to the academic success and personal growth of our students, faculty, and staff. We do this through exceptional service, thoughtful stewardship of scholarly resources, and a shared dedication to teaching, learning, and research across all disciplines.
ZSR is more than a library: it’s a place where people come together. We are open, welcoming, and inclusive. Our team treats everyone with respect, appreciation, and care. We believe that libraries are essential to a more informed, connected, and compassionate society, and we strive to live that out every day.
We also know the value of joy and creativity in our work. Whether we’re hosting a campus-wide game of Outbreak, serving snacks and staying open late during finals, or designing innovative programs that meet emerging needs, we bring energy and imagination to our mission.

As someone who began my own professional journey at ZSR, I can tell you that this is a place where careers are built, ideas are nurtured, and community is real. I’m honored to serve as Dean and excited to work alongside you as we continue to grow, adapt, and lead together.
