Choosing a Tool/Software
First, consider how your team will work on the overall project.
- Is only one person working on the infographic and the rest of the team providing feedback?
- Are all of you working on the infographic together?
- Canva for StudentsCanva will allow for all of you to work on the infographic together and has various training to reduce your learning curve and templates to reduce the production time.
- CreatelyCreately is another tool that will allow collaboration as a team where everyone is working on the same infographic. You can do so with the free account.
- PicktochartPicktochart also has templates to reduce your production time. Collaborating as a team requires a paid subscription.
- VismeVisme includes infographic templates and provides training for using the tool. You cannot work on the infographic together. However, Visme provides the ability to share and annotate the infographic.
Adobe Create Cloud offers different tools to create an infographic. You can download Creative Cloud for free as a student from the IS website. Adobe InDesign or Illustrator are two options.
Download Adobe Creative Cloud from https://is.wfu.edu/services/adobe-creative-cloud/. After you download Adobe Create Cloud, you can download InDesign or Illustrator from within Creative Cloud.
