ZSR has Canon Vixia HF G50 Camcorders available for reservation.  These camcorders can record several hours of 4K video.  Each camcorder comes with a boom microphone, battery, SD card, USB transfer cable, and a power cable.  

We also have a number of small video cameras available.  These shoot HD video, but do not have microphone inputs.  These can be checked out in bulk for small class projects.  

ZSR has smartphone gimbal kits available. These kits include a rechargeable gimbal, designed to fit most smartphones and keep your videos stable while holding or moving the phone.  The kits also include a boom microphone with a 35mm jack.  

Smartphone tripod adapters are also available for checkout.  

The library has Nikon D5300 DSLR Cameras available for reservation.  These cameras shoot video up to 1080p and come with a boom microphone, multiple lenses.  They are perfect for video projects with shorter recording sessions, as they operate on batteries that limit the length each recording can reach.  

You can also request a Sony RX10 DSLR camera kit.  These cameras shoot video in 4K and come with a boom mic. and a wireless lapel, along with other accessories.  We have 5 of these cameras as part of a class pack.  Please keep in mind these are often reserved for specific classes during the school year.  

Go Pro cameras are small video cameras designed to mount to objects or people for more active shots.  Our Go Pros include head and chest mount harnesses along with other accessories.  

Tripods are available for reservation, with or without a camera reservation.  You can simply request a tripod in the "other requests" section of the reservation form.  The tripods are compatible with all ZSR cameras, camcorders, and audio recorders.  We also have smartphone and tablet adapters for tripods.  

ZSR also has a portable green screen available for reservation.  Check the training resources tab for tutorials on green screening/chroma keying.
