Citation Style Guides

Properly citing the resources you use to complete your coursework is important, and is taken seriously in the School of Divinity.  Professors in the School recommend using the Turabian (Chicago) Manual of Style for your research papers.  The Turabian Guide is available at the Reference Desk for use in the Library.  Some faculty additionally recommend The Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) Handbook of Style, which is also available.

Below are several online guides will help you with writing, editing, and preparing your research bibliographies using the Turabian (Chicago) Manual of Style.
