Citing sources is crucial in continuing the scientific research conversation. This page will help you correctly cite your references as well as understand WHY we do so. There are many citation styles available - literally thousands! Be sure to check with your course instructor on which format they want you to use. Here are a few typically used in science literature: 

AMA (American Medical Association) Citation Format: 11th Edition 

APA (America Physiological Association) 7th ed. Style Guide: ZSR Citation Guide
