2022 LEAP Summer Program : Misinformation and Disinformation
This guide is for the LEAP Summer program to aid high school students in conducting STEM research, doing do diligence in preparing for college/university, and answer any and every questions about the research process.
A subcategory of misinformation and disinformation that impacts STEM fields is junk science. Oxford Languages defines Junk Science as "untested or unproven theories when presented as scientific fact, especially in a court of law."
