ZSR Special Collections & Archives

The Special Collections and Archives at Z. Smith Reynolds Library offers a wealth of resources for the undergraduate and graduate student at Wake Forest. Our diverse collections include books, manuscripts, archival records, photographs, prints and posters, music scores, maps, audio and video recordings, newspapers, and artifacts.

Locating Materials in Special Collections & Archives

For published materials (books, magazines, newspapers, etc.), use the search box on the Special Collections & Archives home page.

Collections of unpublished manuscript or archival records are described in finding aids. A finding aid contains a scope and content note about the collection, offers biographical information about the creator or collector, and explains how the collection is arranged. Here is an example.

Digital materials from over 100 SCA collections are available 24/7 online in Digital Collections. The University Publication Collection is particularly useful.
