Getting Started with Background Sources

Before getting started with research, it is a good idea to start with some background and context to the issues you are investigating. The sources below will help you get to that information quickly.

Finding Books

Books on politics and the mass media can be found in the following ranges:

  • P95s: 5th floor Reynolds Wing
  • JA85s: 4th floor Reynolds Wing
  • JK 520s: 4th floor Reynolds Wing
  • E800s: 7th floor Reynolds Wing (these are the books the presidents and among them are many about the media)

There will also be many books elsewhere in the library depending upon your topics.

Finding Scholarly Journal Articles
