Spring 2018

Where do I start?

Sites like Wikipedia, IMDB, and Rotten Tomatoes can be great places to START your research - just remember that you can't END your research there! Use them to establish some of the basic facts that will be helpful to you as you search for more information. These include:

- Name of author, director, playwright                                           - Year the text was created

- Names of actors and/or primary characters                               - Name of production company/publisher/theatre

- Key themes or ideas addressed in the text                                  - Alternate titles of the text

Finding Reviews, Criticism, and Commentary

ON THE WEB

In addition to the sites linked below, there are a number of other sources on the web where you might find criticism and/or reviews. Also look into the credibility of the author and consider the quality of the writing when determining whether or not to include a particular source in your paper/presentation.
