Standard & Poor's Capital IQ: S&P Cap IQ is the most comprehensive library database for public company financial data, ratios, SEC filings, etc. It also contains limited info on thousands of private companies.
To access Cap IQ, create a login and password by clicking the link to New User? on the Cap IQ site. Use your WFU.edu when creating a Cap IQ login/password. Make a note of your login and password and then you can use them to log in from anywhere.
Basic financial and investment information on thousands of mutual funds and public companies.
Bloomberg is only available on 4 computers in the Business Information Commons (Room 251E Farrell Hall) and on 1 computer in the Charlotte WFU facility (across from the staff offices).

SEC Filings & Forms (EDGAR): Official SEC website for electronic filings of public company reports.
Yahoo! Finance: Useful for quick retrieval of historical stock quotes, current stock data, concise annual and quarterly financial data, current company news. Also well known for message board discussions by individual stock.
Google Finance: Similar to Yahoo! Finance.
Marketwatch: Similar to Yahoo! and Google Finance.
