History of the United States and Canada from the earliest recorded times to the present. See Historical Abstracts for world history.

ATLA
Indexes articles on all aspects of religion.

EconLit
Indexes articles in economics journals. 

JSTOR contains numerous full text articles in a wide variety of disciplines, but the articles are not as current as other databases; the newest will be several years old.

MedLine 
Contains articles about medicine and healing, including traditional medicine

PAIS International (Public Affairs Information Service) this database has articles in the fields of policy and political science.

ProQuest
An excellent database for articles in journals and newspapers and includes items from the database Ethnic NewsWatch.
