Draws together material from selected archives across the UK and the US, with the aim of representing the rich variety of the eighteenth century press. Topics covered include colonial life, provincial and rural affairs, the French and American revolutions, reviews of literature and fashion throughout Europe, political debates, and London coffee house gossip and discussion.

Includes the full text of diaries and letters of women who lived in the United States and Canada from colonial times until 1950. Coverage: 1675-1949

The Archives of Sexuality and Gender program provides a collection of primary sources for the historical study of sex, sexuality, and gender.
