The Gramley Library at Salem College loans up to 6 books at a time to TALA borrowers who are in good standing at their home institutions.

Loan Period:  30 days on books; 14 days on scores

Number of books that can be taken at one time: 6 items

Renewals: One

Access to DVD or VHS collection:   Building Use Only

Access to Reserve collection:  Building Use Only

Able to place holds through the catalog:  Yes

Overdue fines assessed: .05 per item per day

Recalls (when the owning library needs material returned quickly): No additional fines assessed, but the loan length is shortened

Replacement cost: Replacement value plus $5 processing fee.

Borrowing privileges suspended:  When items are overdue and money is owed.

Restricted Access:  Entry into the building by key card access only on weekends and after 6pm on weekday evenings.  Online datases accessed from within the library only.

Service restrictions:  No interlibrary loan requests can be honored. No laptops or other equipment can be loaned. No CMC materials or music recordings.

Eligibility:  Picture ID and evidence of current enrollment.
